Welcome
Junior Medical Club premiered in Hudson, Ohio in 2008 and continues to be a favorite club for area teens. Local professionals mentor these youth who have a passion to learn more about human anatomy and physiology. Meetings are held twice a month in the evenings at a local school or health facility. Junior Medical Club is for teens in grades six through ninth.
JMC is monitored by a volunteer parent or can be sponsored by a health related organization, school or hospital. Meetings include a discussion or online video followed with a guest speaker or hands on activity.
A Junior Medical Club is easy to start in your area following the guidelines and instructions available through this website. A logo is available to use and most materials and forms can be printed out on a home printer. Many resources for classroom discussions can be found at your local library or online. We also provide many resources and links on this website.
If you have questions or would like to start a Junior Medical Club in your area, please contact us so we can send you materials or keep you up to date on new resources you can use for your class. We may receive donations from time to time from healthcare corporations or organizations and would love to pass along these free samples and resources for you to share with your students. We want to hear what you're doing in your meetings and share these successes with other JMC clubs.
